loops

Froot Loops is a brand of sweetened, fruit-flavored breakfast cereal produced by Kellogg's and sold in many countries. The cereal pieces are ring-shaped (hence "loops") and come in a variety of bright colors and a blend of fruit flavors (hence "froot", a cacography of fruit). However, there is no actual fruit in Froot Loops and they are all the same flavor.

Which is the better (or valid) pressure balancing loop?

I am trying to make a pressure balancing loop for body jets in a shower. I have limited space so the loop has to be similar to those drawn. I just need to know which one would work and if both, then which is better. Thanks in advance :)

Filling Loops - are they ever removed?

How often do you actually come across filling loops that have actually been removed as is the legal requirement? Every one I come across has always been left fitted! And what is the logic of the requirement? As a DCV is suited to Fluid Category 3, so I would have thought would be sufficient...

Dirty water in underfloor heating loops - how big a job to drain/clean them?

Hi, I have been noticing my underfloor heating taking longer than usual to heat up. Decided to take a look at the manifold and noticed the water in all the loops looking a bit worse for wear: While not super urgent right now, I think I should get that sorted out in the near future. How big a...

Abnormal Filling Loops - advice pls!

Hi all, I have recently had a new Boiler (Vaillant Ecotec 630 + Gledhill 210L) with powerflush. When the engineer was doing the powerflush, and all radiator valves were closed, he said that there was still flow, so there was an abnormal loop and therefore my efficiency would be low. 3 of the...

Hi, I am replacing the screed and pipe in one Conservatory room as the screed was shot and breaking up after ceramic tiles were lifted by my tiler. To be fair the screed must have been a bad mix or dried to rapidly in the conservatory heat. Currently the whole system (14 loops) use UNIPIPE...

    Need help identifying valve please

Hi i have this valve on my underfloor heating manifold. It mixes the hot water from the boiler with the recirculated water from the heating loops. It has a remote sensor in the path of the mixed water on the input of the heating loops. The valve head looks like a radiator valve, except it is...

    Bleeding underloor heating loops

Commissioning my UFH is driving me nuts! After a lot of learning I have got the Ground Source HeatPump to work but I can only get one of my seven loops to take flow.
