loops
Froot Loops is a brand of sweetened, fruit-flavored breakfast cereal produced by Kellogg's and sold in many countries. The cereal pieces are ring-shaped (hence "loops") and come in a variety of bright colors and a blend of fruit flavors (hence "froot", a cacography of fruit). However, there is no actual fruit in Froot Loops and they are all the same flavor.
I am trying to make a pressure balancing loop for body jets in a shower. I have limited space so the loop has to be similar to those drawn.
I just need to know which one would work and if both, then which is better.
Thanks in advance :)
Hi - and thanks in advance for reading - just joined...
I have been looking into why my heating takes ages to warm up - had the system power flushed and lots of things checked... Today, I found this:
This is one of 4 manifold pairs - and it also feeds the worst of the radiators for not...
How often do you actually come across filling loops that have actually been removed as is the legal requirement? Every one I come across has always been left fitted!
And what is the logic of the requirement? As a DCV is suited to Fluid Category 3, so I would have thought would be sufficient...

Hi, I have been noticing my underfloor heating taking longer than usual to heat up. Decided to take a look at the manifold and noticed the water in all the loops looking a bit worse for wear:
While not super urgent right now, I think I should get that sorted out in the near future. How big a...
Hi all,
I have recently had a new Boiler (Vaillant Ecotec 630 + Gledhill 210L) with powerflush.
When the engineer was doing the powerflush, and all radiator valves were closed, he said that there was still flow, so there was an abnormal loop and therefore my efficiency would be low.
3 of the...
Hi,
I am replacing the screed and pipe in one Conservatory room as the screed was shot and breaking up after ceramic tiles were lifted by my tiler. To be fair the screed must have been a bad mix or dried to rapidly in the conservatory heat.
Currently the whole system (14 loops) use UNIPIPE...
Hi
i have this valve on my underfloor heating manifold. It mixes the hot water from the boiler with the recirculated water from the heating loops. It has a remote sensor in the path of the mixed water on the input of the heating loops. The valve head looks like a radiator valve, except it is...

Why do HRM void your warranty if a Tiger Loop is fitted? How come they dont need one but all other wall hung boilers do (assuming the tank is not high)?
Hi,
Have got a job coming up in a local school, large system with 8no underfloor heating manifolds.
School reports that they do not heat up very well and want me to take a look. Without installation plans showing volume of water in the underfloor loops is there an easy way or tool /...

Commissioning my UFH is driving me nuts!
After a lot of learning I have got the Ground Source HeatPump to work but I can only get one of my seven loops to take flow.
I assume that I have too many airlocks and that I have to purge through each loop one-at-a-time. But I have tried that, although...
hi all,
ive come accross a couple of glow worm cxi's which have been buggers to fill up using the filling loop. one would only go up to 0.8 bar (the mains was 2.5 bar so no idea there) and the other was already at 0.7 bar but would not fill at all. now it does state in the glow worm manuals...
