All,
First time poster, long time reader!
I need some advice before I get some quotes to resolve an issue. I found out a couple of days ago (from a boiler engineer) that the gas inlet working pressure at my boiler is too low (approx 13.5mbar). I haven't got precise figures, but apparently the...
I went to a job recently where the D2 pipe discharged into a 110mm drain. on the D2 pipe approx 100mm lower than the tundish was a 22mm to 22mm self sealing trap it was clear plastic device with a lil spring loaded piece of plastic and washer in it and it worked perfectly when discharging water...

I am replacing my old water mains with a new 25mm MDPE (blue) pipe and im looking for advise on how to connect it best to my existing stopcock.
Is there a fitting out there that would fit on to the 25mm MDPE and connect directly to stopcock. The stopcock currently has a 22mm pipe connected...
i am studying unvented system now, i am studying plumbing as well, it says the outlet of hot water is 22mm, so for showers and basins hot water on first floor are they going to use 22mm all the way or just for connecting to the megaflo cylinder?
cheers
I am planning to add a radiator in a shower room. I am able to access the 22mm flow and return pipes that run through the room. The pipes end in manifolds that currently feed 4 radiators. Am i ok to tap into the 22mm pipe before the manifolds to feed 1 rad or will this have an adverse effect on...

Hi all
What's the best way to connect 22mm copper to a shower pump with 15mm inlets?
Also how would you route the piping from pump to shower mixer (about 1/3 of the way up the back of the airing cupboard, just below that streaky line in fact) in this scenario?
Material...
as mentioned on previous thread and fitting a triple valve controller to feed shower rail, rain head and bath filler.
outputs look like 15mm on it, but inputs look like 22mm.
i was planning on using existing 15mm shower feeds as they are in the correct place.

I have just purchased an old property in London E7 and I am completely renovating it. I have told the plumber to use 22mm pipes as I have been told this would be advantageous. I am concerned by the pressure, as the water has to flow to the dormer level where I have a new shower...

My heating system was installed in 1981 when the bungalow was built. It consists of a wall mounted Ideal Concord WCF 255A boiler with the flow and return (28mm) going up into the loft where the pump and 3 motorised valves are fitted (I think it was called an S plan plus). This allows separate...
