IMG_1570.jpgHi can anyone tell me what cylinder this is? There are no manufacturers labels on it and it comprises a hot water cylinder and above it, all brazed together, is semi circular cold water cistern and small F & E.

Combination cylinder by the sound of or, but they are usually directly on top of each other

Viessmann combi starts when cold, mixer, tap is opened
Recently had a Viessmann Vitodens combi boiler installed, quite often when the adjacent cold mixer tap is opened the boiler starts for a few seconds! Can anyone tell me what is causing this? And how to cure?

LCS to new water mains
