Hello!

I would like to use this electric descaler to soften both the hot and cold water in the house.

I was thinking I needed to purchase 2 of these, one for the cold pipe into combi boiler, one for cold pipe just after main stopcock from mains. Is my thinking correct?

Thank you in advance.

They are not your answer if you want to soften your water!

Bite the bullet and get a salt based softener - you will not regret it and, if you buy the right one, will be a long term investment and last a life time!

Do a search on this forum on Water Softeners and you will find tons of information from the professionals.

Why are you confusing scale inhibiting devices with water softening systems?

These devices don't soften the water at best they inhibit the formation of scale from sticking to surfaces, in my opinion the only true way of softening.wster is via a salt water softener. Kop
