Hi guys, was wondering if someone could give me some advice.
I’m looking at buying a Milwaukee sds which will be for general use such as drilling a variety of size holes and also for some core drilling from time to time in thermalite and also solid brick. I would like the drill only mode on the chpx as the chm only has hammer and hammer drill so seems more specific for heavy duty work. Do you think the chpx is up to the job for coring flue holes or do I need the chm if I want to core large holes?
Thanks in advance

TBH I wouldn’t use any of them for coring through anything but therm or brease

Better off using a purpose core drill for it

Only issue is I work on site and I don’t really wanna be lugging a generator around if I can avoid it. Most of the people on my firm use Bosch 36v’s but looking at the specs these seem equally as good on paper if not better

I guess it depends on how hard the bricks are

I find them hit or miss you’ll end up burning the clutches out in a year etc
