    Bunging open vented system

I've not heard of using a carrot, may be worth a try, I'm guessing the carrot will swell slightly to create a better seal

    Bunging open vented system

question for you veterans, what are your tips and tricks for when you don't get a good vacuum when you bung the tank. (Sometimes its not a round hole, sometimes hexagonal or got little tabs on it preventing a good seal). I've cut an isolation valve in on the outlet in the past, however...

    Van organisation motorbike

I have a transit custom which I use for work (plumbing and heating) but also for taking my bike to track days. Does anyone have any idea how I can keep my van neat and organised? It always seams to be messy. I don't really want any racking because it will make it difficult to get the bike in...

Van 6-7k budget - work and motorbike

I'm looking for a new van, it needs to be big enough for fitting all my plumbing gear in, but also a motorbike. I'm interested in transit, transit custom or VW transporter. For my budget they all seem to have big mileage 110k+. What would you guys recommend?

Baxi neta tec 33kw combi 133 error

I’ve changed the electrodes and checked the resistance across gas valve so that should rule the gas valve out, boiler still bringing up fault. It is looking as though it could be the PCB. As it’s an intermittent fault how would I test it? Thanks

Baxi neta tec 33kw combi 133 error

hi all, Did a full strip down on baxi neta tec. Customer reported they were having trouble with e133. Boiler was pretty clean over all. Checked CO readings at Max, min and ignition stage all ok. Electrode gap was 2-3 mm too big explained this to customer that it would need to be replaced at...

Glow worm 15 hxi roaring noise

Went back today and it went from bad to worse. I spoke to glow worm and they told me find a happy medium and alter the gas valve so that the boiler would not make the noise. With the boiler set to max I started to do so. The boiler then locked out on over heat. I rang glow worm again to explain...

Glow worm 15 hxi roaring noise

Cheers lads yeah I’ve spoke to them (glow worm) before and had a cold reception. They talk to you as if your stupid. None of this would’ve happened if they had a proper boiler fitted ... like a viessmann haha. Anyway thanks for the help I’ll report back tomorrow hopefully solved

Glow worm 15 hxi roaring noise

Worked for them before, nightmare customer. Should of learnt my lesson with him last time... The manufactures instructions are a bit unclear on the high/low fire. The only way I can see I could of caused it was when I’ve turned the pentameter at the back of the PCB but I’ve returned that to...
