I have been asked to replace an electric shower, the 10 mm t&e cable is short by about 3 inches. They don't want the expense or mess for a new cable . Would it be possible to use end but crimps with heat shrink covers . If so where can I buy crimps for 10 mm t&e cable

Hi I was looking at a home buyer report for a friend, It stated that the incoming mains supply should be replaced with alkathene and gave it a condition rating of 3.
Is that because the incoming mains supply is a lead pipe or is there any other reasons for it to be replaced.

If the boiler is the correct boiler one that allow me to remove the cylnder,
Could the water pressure issue ( if that is the problem) be cured by installing a pump
on the cold water feed for the D H on the boiler.
