A landlord is required to have a certificate stating that all gas appliances owned by them are safe, if all they have is one stating a fail it needs redoing.
She would need to pay you to redo the CP12 as her current one states there's an unsafe appliance which you've now uncapped therefore she has no certificate to now cover that appliance and would need the entire thing renewing in my opinion.
Had this exact same problem a couple months ago, needed new fan silencer/intake, flue collector, burner door + burner, front case. Could not tell 100% but the actual HE looked warped along the surface, customer asked for a quote and it was around the same price as a boiler just for parts, took a...
Its definitely been a long week, there couldn't be a larger flow chart explaining this, all ok with those readings when commissioning, just being extra cautious I guess as it's my first time installing one of these, better to be safe and sure I suppose though. Thanks Shaun for all the help!
Need to go back tomorrow just to collect some bits and give it a little tidy up so was planning on calling Worcester from site to confirm and commission.
So you would write down on your benchmark your findings which I have;
Max: 10.2 (9.8 data badge) CO was also around 150
Min 9.6 (9.2 data badge)
This would be deemed acceptable?
All other checks done for the record, correct inlet pressure, flue integrity correct, gas rate etc.
Apologies for...
All sorted wasn't too bad, had to rewire everything from scratch in the end, loads of loose connections and messy wiring which had been butchered over the years.
Issue I am having now which I don't think is actually anything major will speak to Worcester tomorrow but the CO2 is about .4 higher...
Theres a wiring centre in the airing cupboard with a fused spur, then a LNE to the boiler and a five core for the programmer below the boiler, going to keep the LNE and take the five core to the pump, never had this issue before.
The boiler has a LNE from the previous one as well as theres a programmer there so I was going to keep the LNE and use the five core for the pump and SL and then move the programmer next to the centre.
Programmer is directly next to boiler, but I need to use its wire otherwise its just going to be a head ache to run the wire.
You would only wire the pump to the boiler? So the boiler would get its power via the boiler on the pump wiring section? Not to the centre at all?
