Jts,yes the the box when you take the cover off ,didn't think of the exp vessel seam ,looked all around with torch couldn't see anything but will take extra notice next time , have you had this before?.
Can someone enlighten me where the water comes from which lies in the combustion chamber when the expansion vessel has lost its charge ,been to 2 of these boilers recently recharged vessels but cannot spot where this water is from , I've checked the condense hose but seems fine any ideas ?
Pcb ,I switch one off by the on off button,fitted a new rad , went to switch it back on and nothing on the display,I was in the house myself and rather explain to customer and get those "o yeah really " looks I replaced pcb just one of those those jobs
Checked pilot and main burner injector, a bit of crud on the pilot,customer said they heard a rattling,checked flue terminal same had collapsed wired same back together and refitted, it was windy last night it must of been blowing pilot light out thanks for replying
The pilot is good ,the main flame on burner is good, going back today will check your suggestion s , if it was thermocouple I would expect pilot not to light , gasket was fine and intact will keep you informed cheers
Ideal classic on a fully pumped open vent system keeps locking out ,ie main burner goes off and takes pilot out ,I ve changed gas valve it ran for a week or so but starting do it the same,it's not over heating ,suspect control stat or overheat stat , anyone worked on these who can help cheers
I had a problem last week with one of these last week,only L2 kept locking out in both Dhj and heat ,I checked and cleaned spark leads and flame sensor took trap off and found a slight blockage made sure con pipe clear by blowing down it and checked bottom of hex,this has rectified it so far...
Yes it is part of the modulation ,it's easy to connect it back onto the manifold mixing chamber as there is a similar connection on there it has to go on the fan you know when it's in wrong place an e130 fault shows up usually when your on the next job !
Hi guys I've got a leaking diverter which has took out motorized head ,can you get a kit to repair diverter or is it a new one required ,if there is a kit what is the part number ?
Like I said checked all connection,reset ,checked clock connection,still same fault,I was talking to givani telling him fault neon sequence when it suddenly fired ,he just laughed and said it happens !! I can only put it down to moisture lingering somewhere,anyway thanks for replys
Update guys ,been back this afternoon armed with another PCB, I gave it one more go checked all connection s reset ,same fault appeared sh.t,I rang back tech and was explaining the sequence of events and while I was talking to him ,the boiler fired up UNBELIEVABLE,what a tech guy he is gianni...
