    I have watched my boss replace the just the diaphragm a few times, it usually seems to solve the problem and maybe we are on about different boilers but on the ones I have seen my boss do and also done under the supervision of my boss, you don't have to touch any of the gas pipes just the water...

    Even if your not touching the gas side of it? Cause you don't have to go into the combustion chamber. What about if you are classed as "competent"?

    Hi I am just wondering do you need to be Gas safe to change a three way valve? This is relating more specifically to the valves in Morco Boilers. You don't touch the gas at all but, you do have to take the front of the boiler off and drain it down. Cheers
