Got a customer who wants an unvented cylinder fitting, they have low flow rate so looking for opinions on best mains boost solution - had a quick look and in order to get anywhere near 18l min will need an accumulator and pump combo.
Expect the answer is the bigger the better, as always...

Fitted a Worcestor boiler ( customers choice) got three zones ( two heating circuits, plus unvented)
Would normally use heatmiser in this scenario but customer looking for budget option, any ideas?

Got a customer with Mira Select exposed valve shower - cartridge shot and replacement over £150 so may as well replace. Seen that a new Select EV over £300, any ideas on a cheaper alternative ?

That looks like the case, but as s sole director can’t really ‘furlough’ myself, just the lads I employ, as ANY business activity (working on a website, speaking to the accountant etc) would count as working.

Been asked by a kitchen fitter I know to help him out with Wickes kitchen installs. He hasn’t signed up with them yet, apparently there’s fixed rates for the kitchen sink, gas hob etc.

I’d go with the unvented if you got space. A modern well insulated cylinder is a thermal store, much more efficient - with the additional benefits high flow rates and immersion backup if the boiler goes down.

Thanks for this - have had a noodle on the Internet and there seems to be a few different options, some promoted by insurance companies. Can’t see why they’d need multiple detectors at various outlets, would have thought a single shut off on the main incoming would suffice. Seems like up selling...
