Question on plumbing spanner

Been plumbing a while now using Footprint Grips and a selection of spanners. Is there a spanner available that will easily hold a Tee compression fitting while tightening centre nut ?

To hold the body of the t?
Just pumps (knipex. Obvs.)
Just make sure they are the right way round.
Never used anything else. As I get older and my grip isn't what it was I know it's going to get more difficult. If you find something, let us know.

will do. right arm not as strong as it used to be

knipex pliers wrench but normally i tighten them up 1/2 a turn at a time so the use each other to stop it moving

Do you think pliers wrench is worth it? they are pretty dear and I've come this far without them but gripping stuff is becoming increasingly difficult, see them a lot on YouTube's and stuff.

TBH anything flat face I use them on I try not to use grips on things as it marks the faces up only time I will use them is on nipples etc

Yes, I'm always telling the lads if it has spanner flats, use a spanner. The amount of times I see them marring and butchering fittings on the flats with grips and stilsons

As above you still have the teeth to deal with that'll mark up the body of whatever you're gripping.

I silver soldered some thick copper strip (3mm) onto the jaws of some pump pliers. Like a copper faced mallet it's mark free everytime no matter how hard you grip.

Yes, I'm always telling the lads if it has spanner flats, use a spanner. The amount of times I see them marring and butchering fittings on the flats with grips and stilsons

Do not even use a micky mouse adjustable, maybe a BAHCO chking
