I want to cap off the supply to my bath taps before removing the bath itself.
Would I do this with a few Polyplumb stop ends? If so, is there an obvious point on each set of pipes that I should disconnect and add the stop end too, or will any work?
(I'm only an amateur DIYer, but to me it...
Hi all,
My boiler was kind of new & installed last year July, I know there's build-in frost protection.
Also, there's an old external frost protection (attached photo) that the engineer did not disconnect it when installed the new boiler. I wonder if I need to disconnect/get rid of the old...
Hi, I need to disconnect the hot water to the kitchen tap to repair a leak but there is nothing under the sink. We have a tank upstairs:
Also, I followed this video but after loosening the screw with an Allen key, the handle will still not come off. I managed to stop the cold water.
Any advice...
I have an issue with the faucet (Franke Atlas Neo Sensor) and it will require it to be sent back to the manufacturer. However I have an issue with disconnecting the hoses from the control box (Franke control box). The hoses plug into the control box without screwing, they're simply pressed into...
I moved house a few months ago and am slowly but surely figuring out its nuances. Wouldn't it be wonderful if houses came with wiring/plumbing diagrams that showed how everything connected? Anyway...

I need the gas supply to my gas fire capped as I want to remove my gas fire. I attach a photo of the elbow restrictor, which has a shut off valve underneath it. I have been given a 'provisional estimate' of £150 for the job by one gas safe engineer (which makes me think that he doesn't...

My Randall SET5 programmer is playing up - seems like a loose connection, as it sometimes flickers on and off.
