I discovered a leak coming from a connection that was installed to provide external garden hose.

The plastic connection is cracked and leaking.

I have visited B&Q and Heat Merchants for advice. Both think the the only option is to replace the whole hose. However the hose is currently running through the external wall so it seems like this would be a big job to remove.

Looking for advice or alternatives e.g. would it be possible to fit a new attachment piece to the old hose?

I will attach a video of the leak and the original package instructions on the garden hose extension.

*The red and blue pipes are the suggested replacement parts from B&Q.
